About me
Russell completed his studies in Mathematics with Computer Science at the University of Stirling and obtained a PhD in Computational Neuroscience researching storage and recall in biologically plausible neural networks.
He has recently switched to industry currently working as a technical lead developing websites, apps, serverless architectures and applying machine learning models after spending 8 years as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge developing large scale novel educational apps to help improve problem solving in prospective undergraduate engineers.
Russell has had a varied career with research involving software engineering, image processing and edtech whilst lecturing Computer Science.
